I'm excited to really get back on the track this year having dedicated most of my spare time last year to planning and prepping for my wedding, and honeymoon and on our new home. Here's my track day story:

I always wanted to ride on the track but I never knew where to go or how to get started. In 2012 a friend of mine introduced me to her sister who she knew I would "totally like because she has like two of the same bike, one for the street and one for the track. It's crazy!" I also happened to meet an insulator on one of my job sites around the same time who also participated in track days. They both rode with different clubs so I did an intro day with each of them on my street bike. I road my '93 Honda CBR600 F2 two and a half hours to my first track day! I was immediately hooked! I had no idea how accessible the track really is until I met these guys. For 2013 I picked up a dedicated track bike, an '06 R6, and had a very busy track day season honing my skills at NJMP Thunderbolt, NJMP Lightning, & New York Safety Track. That winter I did some tinkering and upgraded my suspension. For the 2014 season I upgraded to an enclosed trailer, accomplished group bumps in a few organizations, and road at three different tracks. Track days have remained a major part of my life ever since. I just passed my CCS certification in 2016 and if I get lucky enough to make the schedule work I will put my skills to the test in a CCS race weekend this year.

I can now consider myself a veteran at track days, having rode with NESBA / N2, Absolute Cycle, New York Safety Track, Team Pro-Motion, and EvolveGT. I'm very comfortable in the upper intermediate classes and am working to progress into the expert classes for this season. Over the years I've seized the opportunities to attend Level 1 of the California Superbike School, YCRS lunch seminars with N2, and a 2 Day Yamaha Champions Riding School. Based on my YCRS experience, I've decided that this year I will take a more academic approach to my riding in an attempt to reach the next level. I will be tracking my experience, progress, bike settings, etc. and reaching out to coaches more frequently.

I am able to offer brand exposure and brand recognition through various avenues. Through my presence at track days, riding schools, group rides, and other motorcycle related activities, including logos on my leathers, bikes, trailer, tent, casual clothing, etc. I will ensure that the brands with whom I am partnered are noticed and seen in a positive light. Through my social media presence, including track, dirt, and street motorcycle content as well as other lifestyle content I will promote the brands and encourage others to participate in motorcycling.

Improved skills, work with coaches, progress through the skill groups
