Background

Hello my name is Mark Watkins; I would first like to thank you for reviewing out my 2015 Race Resume! I am a passionate motorcycle road racer. I enjoy riding dirt bikes and road racing. I brought a 2008 Yamaha R1 in 2008 and that was the spark that ignited my passion for motorcycle road racing. That experience fueled my enthusiasm and has helped me to go from Beginner to now expert. I took Cornerspeed and got my racing licenses in 2010. After I received my racing licenses I started racing with WERA on a 2005 GSXR 750 in 2011. Then at the end of the 2012 season I brought a 2008 Yamaha R6 from Jamie James Production. This experience has allowed me to focus on improving my skills and refining my track appearance. I’m currently active duty military station at Fort A.P. Hill in Virginia. In past years my career has made it difficult to pursue my passion of motorcycle road racing. Being stationed at A.P. Hill for2014 racing season made it possible for me to accomplish my goal to complete a full race season. During the 2014 racing season I surpassed my goal of not only completing a full racing season but I have moved from novice to expert plate. I am now an instructor at the schools cornerspeed and cornerspin where I first received professional road racing and dirt bike training. As you know this is not an easy sport to compete in, it takes a lot of guts and an unyielding commitment to be a road racer. But not only does it take dedication from me, it also takes a lot of support f
