As a child I had the opportunity to occasionally ride my aunts Honda Trail 70 around the yard and then I would beep the horn so my dad would catch me because I could not reach the ground. It is almost 30 years later and I still can't reach very well on my 2001 Honda CR250, but I made a goal to learn how to really ride by completing a series of 8 desert races as part of the local SIDRA desert racing series. I may be last but I ride to finish and inspire other women to ride. It doesn't matter if you don't know anything about dirt bikes or that you are vertically or physically challenge. Join a club and you will go on the ride of your life. Thank you IFTMA, Dirt Inc., SIDRA, Boise Ridge Riders, TVTMA and my husband who listens to me complain and says "Yes, dear" then finds a way to modify my ride to help me overcome the challenges.
Completed all 105 miles of the National Hare & Hound Association Round #3 in Murphy, Idaho March 24, 2013
