Started road racing pitbikes in 2005 when my friend's started a local series and talked me into the insanity. That set the hook, doing a track day on my ST3 in 2006 convinced me I needed to do this on a full size bike. In 2008 I got my LRRS/CCS license on a bone stock 1993 Suzuki GS500E and have been addicted ever since.
Podium-ing three classes up on a bike that has a 20% power deficit in it's native class as a novice was fun. Coming back in 2013 after a 3 year break on a completely different style of machine, as an Amateur instead of Novice and managing to blow away my prior times as well getting on the podium consistently, the whole year is one big highlight for me.
I've shown I can get on the box as an Amateur, and I've sorted the mechanical issues that kept me from running every event in the season. For 2014 I want to clean up my lines and run consistent 20s which will justify a bump to Expert and allow me to fight with the front runners when I get there.
