It started in October 2011 with the MSF course in Woodland Hills. I was tired of sitting in traffic, and I wanted to ride. After a few months commuting, a police officer pulled me over… and reccomended I try the track. How I was riding on the street was “NOT ok.” I joined a forum (www.socalmoto.org) and posted that I needed help getting to the track. It sounded fun! The people on that forum were amazing, and held my hand the whole way there.
From there, I was hooked. I went to the track as often as I could. I started riding a 2012 Yamaha R6, and learning how to really ride it. From C group, I was bumped up to B. From B group, bumped up to A and thrown into the New Racer’s School at Chuckwalla. A year and a half after my first track day, and I’m ready to play with the big boys!
