Hello. I started riding at the age of 16 and competed in club races with the Willow Springs Motorcycle Club in 2002, and again in 2006. I am still an avid rider and currently ride a 2007 Honda CBR 1000. While I no longer ride in competition, I do race shifter karts. The 2012 season was my rookie year and I feel that my riding background has helped accelerate my transition to 4-wheel racing. All of the things I learned from riding such as lines, timing, race craft/decision making skills and being comfortable at high speeds, is a big reason I was able to get up to speed quickly in my kart.
The 2013 year was a transitional year for me. I made the switch from racing karts to getting back into roadracing motorcycles. I have started running track days again, attended the Keith Code school and am in the process of building a track bike. My goals are to continue to improve my riding skills by participating in track days and possibly doing some club racing in 2014.
