I am a life-long off-road and street rider, making the transition to racing. My short-term goals for the year are to obtain my CCS license and place top-5 in at least one Novice event. Within the next few years, I hope to graduate from CCS/WERA and enter into the AMA Pro Racing realm, eventually becoming competitive at the professional level.
I've been riding since the age of 8, as many trails as my little Honda XR100 would allow. I didn't get started racing or even track riding until a couple years ago when I started making money on internships. My parents didn't have the ability to fund my racing or even support it when I was a kid. My dad wasn't an ex champion of flat track, MX, or road racing. In fact, he barely rides motorcycles. This is a passion and a calling I found on my own. I don't have this in my blood, and I wasn't bred to do it...but I know it's hands-down the only thing that I want to do with my life, so I'm paving my own way.
I graduated university with a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering in Feb 2013, and am now working as a full-time Simulation Engineer in Charlotte, NC. Look for me at CCS Southeast rounds this year!
This year, I am riding a 2007 Kawasaki ZX6R.
